Stormwater Runoff!

Stormwater runoff is a major problem on a nationwide scale. Heavy rains wash silt, dirt, carbon monoxide residue, trash, and more into stormwater drainage inlets and into our lakes, streams, rivers, ground water, etc… Commercial and residential development clears lots during the building phase which cause problems for erosion control and runoff problems.  When the storm drainage inlets get block and clogged up, sometimes it takes large crews many man-hours to tear up streets and drainage outlets in order to restore the inlet and clear away the residue.

But the problem goes deeper than just commercial and residential building projects.  Too much water in residential neighborhoods or broken watermains are also some of the culprits causing damage in our storm inlets.

So what can be done about it - and how can we take an active part in protecting our stormwater drainage systems in order to keep our drinking water from being contaminated or from poising our lakes and rivers and recreational parks?

That is what this website is all about! Stormwater-usa.com is an information website design to help you understand the growing problems that our enviroment faces and our technology that is already in place to protect our natural resources.  Sponsered by ZoopCorp.com, we will be sharing with you insightful information based on years of experience, tips, and proactive methods on how we can all be a part of the solution instead of adding to the problem.

We hope that you find this website informative and helpful and we encourage your comments so that we can better provide you with the types of information that you need most - and how we can make our website easier for you.
